Product owner Claude sought a partner to help with expanding a rapidly-developing product line of fishing lures for large-scale production.
Claude provided uDesign with a sketch of his desired lure. We worked with him to create a 3D model, then used our in-house SLA 3D printers to produce a sample. Once approved, we optimized design for production (DFM) and made the injection mold.
The mold is tested to ensure proper lamination and air release. uDesign analyzes the initial sample run and makes alterations to the mold accordingly to ensure the highest quality product is produced.
The molds uDesign produces for Claude allows him to continuously expand his product offering, giving him a competitive advantage.
